Practical Strategies for Improving Professional Effectiveness and Managing Wellbeing
Our rationale is simple. We have a concern for colleagues’ emotional well-being in this highly rewarding yet challenging career. We are aware of the increasing significant difficulty in both retention and recruitment faced by employers and of the impact these issues have on the individuals, the pupils they teach, and the schools they lead or work in.
We use standard and established techniques to help improve the well-being and stress-resilience of our colleagues at all levels within the profession. We aim to equip them so that they may be better able to manage emotionally the professional and personal demands upon them and develop a healthier mind-set in their work.
It is premised on the fact that whilst the stressful environment is largely outside our control, our response is largely within our control and that we can recognise and adapt our current auto-responses to stress and anxiety and improve well-being.
The programme seeks to empower individuals to be proactive in helping themselves, making informed choices, and being healthier, happier and more confident in their work.
We adopt goal orientated approaches and help delegates both identify and address automatic negative thinking processes, and stress triggers.
Our medium of delivery is a mix of workshop, group work, one-to-one and personal follow up.
